Hairy Bikers' Dave Myers remembered by hundreds of motorcyclists who gather for memorial ride

Hundreds of motorcyclists have taken to the road for a 75-mile ride in memory of late Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers, who died in February after a battle with cancer

Before the event, the organisers took to Facebook to express their amazement at the "colossal response" to the ride announcement, with a staggering 3000 people showing interest in joining to honour Dave. The beloved chef had courageously disclosed his cancer diagnosis to fans in May 2022, choosing to keep the specifics private while humorously warning that he might become the "baldy biker" during his chemo treatment. Dave, from Barrow-in-Furness, in Cumbria, found fame alongside Si King and the bearded pair were known for travelling around the UK and the world on their motorbikes sampling and cooking food from different regions.
