Haim Release Track ‘Down to Be Wrong’ Off ‘I Quit,’ Their First New Album in 5 Years

Haim have officially announced 'I Quit,' their first new album in five years, and the bluesy new single "Down to Be Wrong."

After a slew of summery singles and a cheeky, highly entertaining rollout featuring homages to early 2000s paparazzi photos, Haim have officially announced their new album. To accompany the album announcement, the L.A. sister trio dropped the new single “Down to Be Wrong.” It’s a slow-burning rocker of supreme self-preservation in the wake of heartbreak — one that quietly simmers in the verses, and builds to a cathartic release of reflections. The news of I Quit arrives directly after Haim’s headlining show at the Bellweather in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where they confirmed the album title and debuted “Down to Be Wrong.” They also performed the bluesy new track “Blood on the Street,” which Addison Rae came onstage for, supplying some killer dance moves.
