If you didn't know, ovarian cysts are “fluid-filled sacs in the ovaries” which usually develop due to hormonal changes. “It's painful and achey and makes me feel nauseous and bloated and crampy and emotional,” she wrote. “These are so freaking painful and in my experience doctors won't do anything until they're the size of a softball,” one person wrote, while another said, “Had one that twisted my ovary (ended up losing it) and the EMT was telling me that I was being dramatic and it was probably a UTI.”
