Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Gwen Stacy in the acclaimed Spider-Verse movies, will star opposite Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler ’s untitled supernatural thriller being made by Warner Bros. Pictures. The buzzy project, the object of a high-profile bidding war in January, heads before cameras later this month in New Orleans and has been furiously casting up. The project, first revealed in January, was the subject of a heated bidding war in the winter, with Warners coming out on top, thanks to a unique deal that will see some of the movie’s rights reverting to the filmmaker over the course of several decades.
