H.P. Lovecraft’s ‘Herbert West: Reanimator’ Getting Feature Redo From ‘Haunting In Connecticut’ Scribes


H.P. Lovecraft’s “Herbert West–Reanimator” is set for a feature redo.  Haunting in Connecticut writers Adam Simon (Salem) and Tim Metcalfe are hatching a contemporary reimagining of Lovecraft’s legendary short story.

Woodlake Entertainment principals John Simmons and Roger Lewis will executive produce with Andrew Trapani ( Winchester). Simon, Metcalfe and Trapani previously collaborated on the Lionsgate hit The Haunting in Connecticut which grossed over $77M worldwide off a $10M production cost. Simon is repped by Circle Management + Production, Innovative Artists, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
