Gypsy Rose Blanchard, speaking exclusively with PEOPLE, talks about her feelings and concerns amid her first pregnancy with boyfriend Ken Urker.
"I was very surprised," Blanchard, 32, tells PEOPLE over Zoom on Tuesday, July 9 — just a few hours after she announced she was expecting her first baby in a tearful YouTube video. In 2016, Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for conspiring with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn, whom she met online, to kill her 48-year-old mother. During a recent episode ofLifetime's Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, which airs on Mondays, Blanchard told her stepsister Mia that she wasn't ready for motherhood.
