Gwyneth Paltrow Used to Regret ‘Not Having More Kids’

Gwyneth Paltrow discussed her experiences as a stepmother, how it shaped her and her challenges with balancing feelings in a blended family

“My dad [ Bruce Paltrow] used to say the only regret he had in his entire life was not having more kids, and I felt like that for a long time until I got yours too,” Gwyneth, 52, told husband Brad Falchuk on the Tuesday, April 8, episode of her “Goop” podcast, while referring to her late father. “It’s kind of giving me a nervous breakdown,” Paltrow, 51, said at her recent In Goop Health Summit in Carlsbad, California. Gwyneth further noted that the stepparent dynamic is full of “minefields,” and she regretted how she chose to interact with Isabella and Brody at first.
