Gwyneth Paltrow SLAMS superhero movies for lacking originality... five years after Iron Man star retired from Marvel because she felt a 'bit old'
On Thursday, the actress said there is more of a focus on quantity than quality nowadays, adding that there can only be 'so many good ones that feel truly original'.
During the episode, host Sean Evans, 37, asked her to share her thoughts about a comment American Fiction director Cord Jefferson made at the Oscars pushing for Hollywood to invest in smaller, more independent projects. The Goop founder, who prefaced the interview by revealing her 17-year-old son Moses Martin was a huge fan of Evans' show, was an open book as she played a game of 'fact or fiction' based on rumors about herself. The Contagion actress also revealed it was true that Kiefer Sutherland babysat her and her brother, Jake Paltrow, while her mom, Blythe Danner, was performing in a play at Williamstown Theater Festival, where 'he was an apprentice.'
