Gullane, Producer of Netflix Series ‘Senna,’ to Make Ayrton Senna-Related Doc and Animation, Plus New Features and Series (EXCLUSIVE)
Producer of Netflix Series ‘Senna,’ Brazil’s Gullane is also prepping an Ayrton Senna-related doc and kids-targeting animated series.
Produced by Gullane for Netflix, “ Senna,” a bio drama TV series helmed by Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende, is due to open late this year. Set in a poor neighborhood in Sao Paulo, and focusing on funk, drug dealing and fundamentalist religion, the fifth season finalises the stories of Doni (Jottape), Nando (Christian Malheiros) and Rita (Bruna Mascarenhas). Gullane have also produced “Ninguem Sai Vivo Daqui” (“Nobody Leaves Here Alive”), a spin-off feature film of the first “Colonia” season that will be theatrically released in Brazil on July 11.
