Guitarist Carlos Santana Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due To Broken Finger Suffered In “Hard Fall”


"Unfortunately, he won’t be able to play guitar for approximately six weeks. Doctors do say that he will recuperate fully.”

Guitar icon Carlos Santana has postponed the next run of his 2025 Las Vegas residency due to an “accidental fall” that left him with a broken finger. The fall occurred at Santana’s vacation home in Kauai, Hawaii, said Michael Vrionis, President, Universal Tone Management, in a statement today. The guitarist was scheduled to begin the next run of shows at Vegas’ House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on January 22.
