Grupo Firme Sing About Heartbreak on New Album ‘Evolución’: Stream It Here
The LP includes collaborations with Gloria Trevi, Carolina Ross, and Joss Favela, plus an upcoming surprise revealed to Billboard Español.
Grupo Firme gave a hint of what their sophomore album would be like back in May 2024, when they released “El Beneficio de la Duda” showcasing greater maturity in their sound and interpretation. The 14-track set includes collaborations with regional Mexican stars like Carolina Ross and Joss Favela, but also features iconic pop singer Gloria Trevi, who teams up with Jhonny Caz (third vocalist) for the heartbreak anthem “Súfrele.” “The duet with Ms. Gloria Trevi is something phenomenal,” says Eduin Caz, adding that they have “a very beautiful relationship with her” and that “recording in the studio was so much fun.” An additional surprise: “In a month, we’ll be unveiling a bonus track with Grupo Frontera,” Caz reveals exclusively, without providing further details.
