Grimes Cancels Pride Event Performance to ‘Deal With Family Issues’
Grimes will no longer be performing at an upcoming pride event after the artist cited “family issues” for her cancellation.
“Hello friends, I am so so sorry and regretful to say I have to cancel my pride show in order to deal with family issues,” the 37-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter (whose real name is Claire Boucher) wrote on X Sunday, May 25. In early March, she tweeted that she has " begged" her former partner to stop having their children in the public eye or posting them online, even turning to "legal recourse." Musk, who is currently a senior advisor to President Donald Trump, was also called out by Grimes after she learned of X Æ A-Xii being in the Oval Office from an X user.
