Grey's Anatomy is RENEWED for season 21 on ABC as beloved show continues to be network's longest-running primetime medical drama
Grey's Anatomy is set to return to primetime television on ABC after being renewed for season 21 and is slated to consist of a total of 18 episodes.
The current stars of the show include fellow original castmates Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr., as well as Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver, Camilla Luddington, Caterina Scorsone, Anthony Hill and Alexis Floyd. Shonda Rimes - who created the series - expressed in a statement, 'The loyalty and love of Grey's Anatomy fans has propelled us into a historic 21st season, and I could not be more grateful' 'You stayed with us through plane crashes, superstorms, earthquakes and a global pandemic, and as we start our 20th season, we are officially the longest-running prime time medical drama in TV history,' Chandra proudly gushed.
