Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane has revealed he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He said he's grateful for the support of his family and plans to continue working

The 52-year-old actor has gone public with the news that he's battling the incurable degenerative condition- which impacts the nervous system and causes muscle paralysis - and revealed he's grateful for the support of his family. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.” He added: “I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria next week. American actor Eric is known for his roles as Mark ‘McSteamy’ Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy, Cal Jacobs in Euphoria, and Jason Dean in Charmed.
