Gregg Wallace makes fresh claim about TV staff complaints after hitting out at 'middle-class women'
Gregg Wallace has claimed that "absolutely zero" complaints were made by TV staff during his 20-year career amid allegations of inappropriate sexual comments and an investigation.
Whilst these complainants have not raised the allegations directly with our show producers or parent company Banijay UK, we feel that it is appropriate to conduct an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate." The statement concluded with, "Whilst these are historical allegations, incidences brought to our attention where these expectations are not met, are thoroughly investigated and addressed appropriately." The BBC has also commented on the matter, noting that it takes any issues raised with it "seriously" and confirming Wallace's temporary departure from the popular cooking show amidst the ongoing investigations.
