Gregg Wallace boasted of 'inappropriate' jokes before BBC apology over behaviour


It's been revealed that Gregg Wallace wrote in his 2012 memoir about being 'encouraged' to make 'jokes' on Saturday Kitchen as he faces allegations of 'innapropriate comments'

Gregg posted an apology video following the allegationsThis comes after the comments made over the weekend led to a backlash, with Downing Street labelling his response to the accusations as "inappropriate and misogynistic". The 60-year-old is facing allegations from 13 individuals across various shows spanning 17 years, as BBC News reported on Thursday (28 November), with numerous others coming forward with their accounts recently. Last Thursday, the news broke that Wallace would be stepping back from the popular BBC cooking show during an external review of historical misconduct complaints by Banijay UK.
