Gregg Wallace 'deeply hurt' as he breaks silence on backlash to viral interview

Gregg Wallace has shared that he felt "deeply hurt" after he received huge backlash for a recent interview he did that went viral, amid criticism over his relationship with his youngest son

Gregg Wallace has opened up on feeling "deeply hurt" after receiving immense backlash for sharing his Saturday routine in one magazine feature, as many people judged him for saying he "wouldn't have chosen" to have his son Sid. The expert chef went on to share how during any typical weekend day, he regularly plays with his son in the garden, but there is also plenty of other time when he is "crawling around on the floor of the living room tickling Sid whilst Anna giggled". Explaining the true meaning of his words, Gregg said that he hadn't "planned" on another child due to his age, but after falling in love with his wife, whom he affectionately calls Anna, things changed.
