EXCLUSIVE: Superbad filmmaker Greg Mottola has been tapped to direct the first two episodes of Peacock comedy series The Miniature Wife, from Michael Ellenberg’s Media Res( The Morning Show, Pachinko). Created and executive produced by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner ( Boardwalk Empire, Goliath), who also serve as showrunners, The Miniature Wife landed at Peacock with a straight-to-series order earlier this year. Media Res and Peacock are the perfect home for this project and I couldn’t be more excited to work with Elizabeth and Matthew, both of whom I’ve admired for a very long time.”
