John Malone is making big changes to his media and broadband holdings — including the departure of right-hand man Greg Maffei. Liberty Media announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Maffei, will be stepping down from his role at the end of 2024. Maffei will step down at the expiration of his contract at year-end and will serve as a Senior Advisor effective January 1st to support the management transition.
