Greenwich Entertainment Takes U.S. Rights To Doc ‘Happy Clothes: A Film About Patricia Field’ On Emmy-Winning Costume Designer

The Patricia Field doc 'Happy Clothes' has been acquired for U.S. distribution this fall by Greenwich Entertainment.

Happy Clothes offers a candid, fly-on-the-wall glimpse into the creative process and the extraordinary life and career of retailer, stylist and costume designer Patricia Field, whose unique vision has impacted fashion and popular culture for nearly six decades. The doc features never-before-seen archival footage as well as interviews with collaborators Kim Cattrall, Lily Collins, Sarah Jessica Parker, Darren Star, Michael Urie, Vanessa Williams and many others. “Patricia Field is a bit like downtown New York’s very own Coco Chanel as retailer and designer, inspired by and catering to the demi-monde of several eras, and already a legend before injecting her signature style into the zeitgeist of the last decades,” said Greenwich co-president Edward Arentz.
