Green Day fans slam Ticketmaster over outrageous ticket prices for the punk rock band's Aussie tour: 'Shameful and elitist'
Furious Green Day fans have taken to social media to slam Ticketmaster's pricing for their upcoming Australian tour, which has seen ticket prices rise to over $500.
Last week, the American rock band announced they will bring their Saviors stadium tour Down Under in March 2025 after promising to return to the country a year ago. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, who last performed here in 2017, will kick off the Aussie leg of their tour in Melbourne at the Marvel Stadium on March 1. However, fans are not happy with concert seller Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing model, which sees the costs of tickets rise in accordance with consumer demand.
