The final of Britain's most challenging patisserie contest, hosted by Ellie Taylor and Liam Charles, saw the last three teams whip up an Afternoon Tea display and a banquet celebrating the best of British. Judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden gave their final critiques as the teams created towering sugar and chocolate showpieces and enough desserts to feed 120 people. However, the Channel 4 show's decision to announce the winners immediately on social media received mixed reactions, with a disappointed fan replying: "Thank you that my weekend ruined I watch this on catch up".
