Grantchester star Melissa Johns on strangers making comments about her disability
Grantchester actress and disability advocate Melissa Johns says she nearly passed on holiday waiting for negative comments on her body.
Melissa is cooking a storm in the Celebrity MasterChef kitchen (Credit: BBC) Cracks in their relationship started to show when Imogen revealed she didn’t like camping or travel. After appearing in a handful of episodes of the Weatherfield-based soap, Melissa took small roles in In The Long Run, Feel Good, Flack and I Hate Suzie. She and Coronation Street co-star Cherylee Houston formed the Creative Confidence Collective (TripleC) and Disabled Actors Networking Community after meeting on the soap.
