Grange Hill's Zammo legend Lee MacDonald reveals he is battling cancer


- familiar to a generation of fans as Zammo McGuire - has revealed he is battling cancer. The 56-year-old, whose hard-hitting storylines on the BBC children's drama in the mid-80s made him an enduring star, revealed he was diagnosed during a check-up.

Lee, who also appeared in EastEnders as bus driver Terry in 2019, told fans: 'Went to the doctors today to check an unusual spot on my face!
