Grace Van Patten To Play Amanda Knox In Hulu Limited Series
Grace Van Patten will play Amanda Knox in a Hulu limited series, succeeding Margaret Qualley who had been originally cast in the role but pulled out.
The untitled eight-episode series, from creator KJ Steinberg and 20th Television in association with The Littlefield Company and Monica Lewinsky’s Alt Ending Productions, covers Knox’s 16-year journey to set herself free after being wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher. Van Patten will take on Knox after recently wrapping production on Season 2 of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name. She has emerged as a go-to actor for Hulu — this marks her third consecutive show on the streamer following limited series Nine Perfect Strangers and Tell Me Lies.
