Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway was left flustered at the start of the ITV show as she revealed she 'nearly didn't make it on air' due to a wardrobe malfunction

ITV's Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway revealed a wardrobe malfunction on Thursday 9 May, causing the 57 year old presenter to almost not make it on air. She made her return to the red carpet as she attended the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards, marking the occasion with a number of snaps from the event. Kate's husband Derek died in January following a four-year battle with the devastating effects of Covid (Image: ITV)"I was so pleased to have an invite to attend but then to actually WIN an award was an incredible honour - a silver heart for Outstanding Contribution to TV & Radio - I guess if you cling on long enough you eventually make a contribution!!!!!!"
