Good Morning Britain guest in tearful tribute to friend Linda Nolan


Good Morning Britain welcomed actress Vicki Michelle, who appeared alongside Linda Nolan in the 1970s, as she paid an emotional tribute to the late TV star

The pair had been close since the '70s, with Linda performing in The Nolans and Vicki gracing TV screens in comedy classics like The Two Ronnies and The Goodies. Sharing her grief with Linda, who had previously lost her sister Bernie to breast cancer back in 2013, Vicki confessed, "My family are like hers, we are all really close and we live within 10 minutes of each other, so when something like that happens it is traumatic, and you don't get over it." In a statement given to the Mirror, Dermot McNamara, Linda’s agent, said: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Guinness World Record holding West End star, Sunday Times bestselling author and Daily Mirror columnist.
