Golden Globes to Again Be Produced By Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner; Submissions Now Open
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment will again serve as exec producers/showrunners of the 82nd Golden Globes on Jan. 5, 2025.
Hot off a ratings surge this past January for the Golden Globes, the production team of Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, of White Cherry Entertainment, will return to once again serve as executive producers and showrunners. Dick Clark Productions is behind the Golden Globe Awards, which this past January averaged 10 million viewers up nearly 50% from the previous year and scoring its largest audience since 2020. Weiss and Kirshner founded White Cherry Entertainment in 1999 and have produced previous editions of the Primetime Emmys, the Super Bowl halftime show, the Tony Awards, the Kennedy Center Honors and presidential inaugurations (including President Biden’s in 2021).
