At the same time, given the spotlight around Hollywood’s first awards show of the year, security firm World Protection Group CEO Kent MoyerMoyer has faith that the BHPDs efforts are well coordinated with the LAPD, LA County Sheriffs Office and others. In a good sign as the Globes get underway this afternoon, the LA County Sheriff’s Department has implemented a temporary fix to its 38-year old-plus computer dispatch system for patrol vehicles after a systemwide outage which impacted a service area of 3.5M people.
