Golden Globes 2025 British and Irish nominees: Kate Winslet and Daniel Craig look set for success while Robbie Williams lands first ever nod


The Golden Globe nominees were announced on Monday, with plenty of British and Irish stars managing to earn themselves top nods.

In the film category she is up against English actress Tilda Swinton, The Room Next Door, as well as Pamela Anderson, The Last Showgirl; Angelina Jolie, Maria; Nicole Kidman, Babygirl and Fernanda Torres, I'm Still Here. In the Best TV Drama Actor category is Slow Horses' Gary Oldman and The Day of the Jackal's Eddie Redmayne, who will go up against Donald Glover, Mr. and Mrs. Smith; Jake Gyllenhaal, Presumed Innocent; Hiroyuki Sanada, Shōgun and Billy Bob Thornton, Landman. Gary's Slow Horses co-star Jack Lowden takes on Tadanobu Asano, Shōgun; Javier Bardem, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story; Harrison Ford, Shrinking; Diego Luna, La Maquina and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, The Bear in the Best Supporting Actor - TV category.
