Golden Bachelorette's Guy Addresses Ex-Wife's Past Protective Order Filing
‘Golden Bachelorette’ contestant Guy Gansert broke his silence on his ex-wife, Heidi Gansert, filing for a temporary restraining order in 2021
“This was an unfortunate situation that occurred during an incredibly stressful time for me and my former spouse and was ultimately resolved when she voluntarily dismissed her request for a protective order,” Guy, 66, wrote in a Thursday, October 10, Instagram statement. Guy is one of Joan Vassos ’ contestants on the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette, receiving a one-on-one date in the Wednesday, October 9, episode. The New York Times and the New Yorker first published investigative pieces in 2017 that accused disgruntled movie producer Harvey Weinstein of decades of sexual assault and harassment.
