Gogglebox's George Gilbey's pals set up fundraiser to pay for funeral after his heartbreaking death
Three days on since Gogglebox star George Gilbey sadly died in a workplace accident, his grieving loved ones have set up a fundraiser to try and pay for his upcoming funeral
Sadly, the tragic loss comes just three years on since George’s mum Linda lost her husband and his step-father, Pete, with the surviving family now faced with the additional and unexpected task of paying for his funeral and giving him the send-off he deserves. Hoping to ease some of the stress of the heartbreaking situation, a GofundMe page was set up for well wishers and friends to donate any money they could spare to support his grieving mother and eight year old daughter Amelie. At the time of writing, the fund currently stands at £815, with a provisional target set of £5000 to pay for the necessary arrangements needed to big George a fond farewell.
