Gogglebox stars we've lost as George Gilbey dies in tragic workplace accident
As Gogglebox fans pay tribute to George Gilbey, who has died in an apparent workplace accident, here's a look back at the much-loved cast members we have lost over the years
George, who was best known for making the nation laugh from the comfort of his sofa alongside his mum and step-dad, died at aged 40 following a reported accident at his workplace on Wednesday, 28 March. Alongside the photos, Stephen wrote: "Mummy Pat , you were one in a million, took everyone at face value, would share your last fiver with a stranger, the salt of the earth and the absolute centre of our world! "Beloved father to Katy, Alex, Pascal and Louis, and cherished husband of Carolyne, Andy was a much-loved and respected member of the Gogglebox family, and he will be very sadly missed.
