Gogglebox stars in tears as they're axed for breaking rules – from love triangle to political storm and huge comeback
Gogglebox has been a staple on our screens since 2013 and has made stars out of the likes of Scarlett Moffatt, but some families have been forced to leave the show
It's made celebrities out of TV favourite Scarlett Moffatt, posh duo Steph and Dom Parker, and the nation mourned the tragic deaths of the much-loved Leon and June Bernicoff, who passed away in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Carolyne was tearful about the decision, having to choose between the show and her husband's political career, and took to Twitter to express her feelings: "It's with great sadness that we must say goodbye to the wonderful Gogglebox family. Gogglebox producer Chantal Boyle has revealed that George and his family were axed from the fourth series of the show because it "wouldn't work" after his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
