Godcaster Go Psych-Pop With a Little Help from Of Montreal

Godcaster have revealed their new single, "Judy Living Daylights," produced by Of Montreal's Kevin Barnes, along with an April residency in New York

When we last heard from them, the buzzy New York art-rock band Godcaster were making unsettling, doomy noise on their self-titled 2023 album and conjuring one of the freakiest spectacles at SXSW 2024. “Judy Living Daylights,” out now, was produced by Of Montreal ‘s Kevin Barnes, and with its swooning vocals and jittery grooves, it wouldn’t have felt out of place as a B side to The Sunlandic Twins. Godcaster have also announced a four-night residency at the new Manhattan venue Night Club 101, as well as a month-long run opening for Chicago’s Horsegirl, who just released a fantastic new album.
