Layla, who found herself in the impossible situation of pulling her own teeth out due to severe pain, told hosts Adil Ray and Kate about the struggle to find an NHS dentist after making countless calls, with the closest one being two and a half hours away from her home. The show segment came after Kate interrupted programming with breaking news – Heathrow Airport would be closed until midnight tonight, as per the early announcements to ITV audiences, reports the Mirror. Throughout the programme, Kate and Adil were receiving messages from impacted viewers, with one heartbreakingly sharing that her terminally ill father was on a flight returning to the now-closed airport.
