Hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were joined by guests including Aggie MacKenzie to discuss the subject after an English council began fining those caught short £88.
The veteran broadcaster, 62, left viewers in hysterics and had them comparing him to Alan Partidge as he made a series of blunders whilst stepping in for regular host Piers Morgan before his departure from the show. Richard was previously known for hosting This Morning alongside his wife Judy and has not been shy when it comes to speaking out on moments from their private life (pictured in 1988) As he walked around the sofa talking to himself, he tripped causing host Emma Willis to stifle a laugh as the camera panned back to her in the studio.
