Glenn Close Says She Hasn't Sought a Relationship in 10 Years Since Last Divorce: 'I'm Very Happy Right Now'

Glenn Close told Drew Barrymore on the Monday, Jan. 13 episode of the 'The Drew Barrymore Show' that she has not sought out dating since she divorced ex-husband David Shaw in 2015. "I'm always up for anything, but I'm very happy right now," she said.

While Close, 77, promoted her new Netflix movie Back in Action on the Monday, Jan. 13 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, she told Drew Barrymore that she feels happy without a romantic relationship in her life, more than nine years after she divorced ex-husband David Shaw. The eight-time Oscar nominee was previously married to singer-songwriter Cabot Wade from 1969 to 1971, and then to businessman James Marlas from 1984 to 1987. Back in Action, which also stars Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Kyle Chandler and Andrew Scott, is Close's first movie release of 2025.
