Glenn Close Remembers the 'Helpful' Advice Robin Williams Gave Ahead of Her First SNL Hosting Gig

Glenn Close remembered the 'helpful' advice given to her by Robin Williams ahead of her first time hosting 'Saturday Night Live' in February 1989 in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

Ahead of her first time hosting Saturday Night Live, the actress, 77, got some sound advice from someone in her inner circle to calm her nerves. She later returned to Studio 8H in December 1992 to host SNL's Christmas episode, which featured The Black Crowes as musical guest. Looking back at her inaugural SNL hosting gig, Close expressed happy sentiments, telling PEOPLE, "Oh, it was great fun."
