Glen Powell Says ‘I Have a Date’ for ‘Top Gun 3’ Start, but He’s ‘Absolutely Not’ Sharing Any More Details
Glen Powell will reprise the role of Jake "Hangman" Seresin in a third "Top Gun" movie with Tom Cruise and likely Miles Teller.
Glen Powell gave the briefest of updates regarding “ Top Gun 3 ” during a live interview on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast alongside his “Twisters” co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones. News broke in January ahead of Powell appearing at the Sundance Film Festival to screen “Hit Man” that Paramount Pictures was officially developing a third “ Top Gun ” movie. The studio is also hoping that ‘Top Gun: Maverick’director Joseph Kosinski will get back into the cockpit for another installment in the series, which would potentially see Cruise’s younger co-stars Miles Teller and Glen Powell return for more high-altitude excitement.
