Glen Powell in Early Talks to Star in J.J. Abrams’ Next Film
The busy actor can soon be seen in Netflix’s ‘Hit Man’ and Universal’s ‘Twisters.’
Earlier Wednesday, THR reported that Powell is set to star opposite Anthony Mackie and Laura Dern in writer-director John Lee Hancock’s legal drama Monsanto. Powell co-wrote and stars in Richard Linklater’s Netflix comedy Hit Man, which begins streaming next month after premiering at last year’s Venice Film Festival. The actor also stars alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos in Lee Isaac Chung’s action sequel Twisters, which Universal releases in theaters July 19.
