Gladiator 2 cast as first look at sequel released 21 years on from original film


Twenty-five years after Sir Ridley Scott directed Russell Crowe in the Roman epic Gladiator, the 86 year old director is back with a sequel for the hit film - and it features an all-star cast, with Paul Mescal leading the movie. As part of Gladiator II, the Oscar-nominated actor stars as Lucius Verus, the former heir to the Empire, previously portrayed by Spencer Treat Clark in the original film.
