Gina Gershon Was Warned Against Playing a Lesbian in ‘Bound’
Gina Gershon recently opened up about starring in the 1996 movie ‘Bound’ as a lesbian character and why her agents were initially against it
Gershon told the “It Happened in Hollywood” podcast in the Tuesday, July 2, episode how her “small-minded” agents were unhappy with her playing an LGBTQIA+ character at the time. “I was shy as a child,” the pro poker player, 64, exclusively told Us Weekly, adding that she would “hyperventilate” when she had to present book reports at school.
