Ghostbusters : Frozen Empire seems prepared to climb to the top of the box office. The action adventure has already performed well as audiences turned out to see the new adventure.
The movie seemed to to dethrone Kung Fu Panda 4, which won the box office race for two weeks in a row. The film received a tepid 43-percent from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but audiences were much more welcoming of the latest addition to the franchise, giving it an 84-percent approval rating. In Frozen Empire, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace team up with veterans Ernie Hudson, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and Annie Potts to save the world from a second Ice Age
