Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger recently fired off a letter to Larry David over a key storyline in the final season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. The Curb story arc started earlier this season, when David, on a visit to Georgia, was arrested when he gave a bottle of water to Leon’s aunt, standing in line at the polls. In his letter to David, Raffensperger, a Republican, wrote, “As the chief elections officer for the State of Georgia, we’d like congratulate you on becoming the first, and to our knowledge, only person arrested for distributing water bottles to voters within 150 feet of a polling station.
