George Miller Teases “Another” ‘Mad Max’ Sequel He’d Make If “Planets Align”
George Miller is flirting with the idea of taking another trip down Fury Road, following last year's 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga'.
Following his 2015 franchise reboot Mad Max: Fury Road(2015) and last year’s Furiosa prequel, the Oscar winner recently revealed he has another installment he’d like to make “if for whatever reason the planets align,” but he has a few other projects on deck. Starring Tom Hardy as the titular road warrior, Fury Road sees the previously enslaved Max Rockatansky help Imperator Furiosa ( Charlize Theron) escape with the tyrannical Immortan Joe’s (Hugh Keays-Byrne) five captive wives. Last year, Anya Taylor-Joy took over Theron’s role in the Miller-helmed prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which also stars Chris Hemsworth.
