Australian actor George Lazenby, who portrayed James Bond in 1969's 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service,' has disclosed he is retiring from acting.
Australian actor George Lazenby, who had a one-and-done moment playing James Bond in 1969’s “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service,” is retiring from acting. “This hasn’t been an easy decision but it’s time to announce my retirement from work,” Lazenby wrote on X. Lazenby appeared in various movies including 1975’s “The Man from Hong Kong” and 1986’s “Never Too Young to Die.”
