George Gilbey's devastated mum, Linda, says her late son 'never wanted' to be a celebrity and instead became a stay-at-home dad to daughter Amelie. His heartbroken mum Linda, 74, broke her silence on her son's untimely death on Tuesday, 2 April, as she thanked fans for the messages she's received in tribute to him. She also conveyed that despite George appearing on Gogglebox from 2013 to 2018 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, he wasn't interested in fame, but was more concerned about being a good dad to his seven year old daughter, Amelie.
