Generation Z star Robert Lindsay has previously opened up about his devastating cancer diagnosis and how it affected his past performances on BBC's My Family and Sherwood

Robert Lindsay opened up about the moment he was diagnosed with cancer just before he was set to perform in front of a live audience. The star of new show Generation Z had previously shared that he was filming the popular TV comedy My Family when he first received his diagnosis. In the six part zombie series, set in fictional town Dambury, a chemical leak outside a care home starts an apocalypse led by old-aged pensioners hungry for human flesh.
