General Hospital star Nicholas Alexander Chavez CONFIRMS departure from daytime soap opera: 'Words fail to show the depth of my gratitude'


Nicholas Alexander Chavez confirmed that he is exiting General Hospital in a statement shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.

The 24-year-old actor, who has portrayed Spencer Cassadine since 2021, expressed how grateful he is to have worked on the long-running daytime soap opera for the last three years. Chavez - who is currently shooting a true-crime series- also said that he was incredibly humbled by the warm reception he's received from General Hospital fans. Chavez took home the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series in 2022 for his work on the program.
